Time flies so quickly. 2011 almost ended. My hair has reached to its longest and my weight been up and down from 68 to 78 in the same year. First time ever in my career days that I fully utilized MC. So many things happened that I sometimes forgot the date and miscalculated the days.

I used to have weight loss as a new year’s reso, until last year I chose to drop it. And same goes to this coming 2012. It’s not that I don’t bother at all, but there’s a lot of other things to me that worth more attention than weight loss. Having a long list does not guarantee the accomplishment.

Suka sangat datang kenduri kahwin. This time turn Ina dan Fizul. Mujur masih ada baju kurung yang muat. Sangat suka lah ayam berempah dia. Rasa macam nak ratah ja. Kebetulan mama, papa, Eddy and Fifi ada sini, so sy angkut lah semua ke kenduri Fizul ni. Save budget makan tengahhari. Hehe.

Dah Tak Ada Kerja Lain Ke?

This morning my boss came out with a terrible news.

AirAsia plane to Bangkok crashed (today).

Mengagau sy search sana sini. From CNN to BBC to Bernama to apa2 sahajalah just to get info. But none found. Risau ok. I've got family on flight tomorrow. Of course I'm worried. Sampai sekarang ni pun, while typing this, I'm still shivering.

Nasib baik itu cuma practical jokes. My boss, being a frequent flyer, lagilah risau. Gila bangang siapa yang came out with the idea. Dalam banyak2 hal, hidup dan mati ni, jangan lah dibuat main. Sheeesshhh!

I have no interest in politic. But somehow I find it amusing. Sampai begitu sekali. Kalau sy, mungkin pada tahap ini, berserah sahaja pada Allah. Andai sipolan itu benar dianiaya, maka takdir yang baik pasti berpihak pada dia. Tapi andainya tidak, mungkin itu semua untuk kita jadikan sempadan.

Mungkin lebih baik kita tunjuk contoh yang baik kepada generasi baru. Tak perlu merusuh sana sini atas perkara yang remeh. Utamakan sifat2 baik yang dituntut oleh semua agama. Fokus sepatutnya lebih kepada memupuk nilai2 murni kerana rakyat kita semakin ego. Pada sy kempen 1Malaysia itu sangat baik untuk perpaduan. Perpecahan tidak menguntungkan sesiapa. Lately, banyak negara2 minyak yang menjadikan demontrasi jalanan sebagai mode untuk menyuarakan pendapat. Dan akhirnya, terjadi lebih banyak kemusnahan. Dan juga, anasir2 luar dengan pantasnya mencucuk jarum. Akhirnya, pucuk pimpinan jatuh kepada pemerintah boneka. Yang menjadi mangsa, rakyat jelata.

Walaupun sy tidak qualify untuk participate, tapi tetap menyibukkan diri di sekitar Weighing Counter. Terasa sangat kagum dengan semangat kawan2. Especially men. Bukan senang for them to reduce even a kilo. Kalau women tu, biasalah. For sure stop makan nasi.

The contest organizes by Nestle with their official partner, Fitness First. Dapatlah goodie bag from Nestle and free entrance to Fitness First for 7-days. Ok lah tu kan. Control makan and a lil bit of exercise, sure can lose. 14 days ja...

Winner intra-office akan fight inter-company for RM3000 worth voucher. So far, the highest losing kilos is Genting Berhad for total loss of 10kilos. Susah nak beat tu. Kalau boleh pun, kira draw la. Office2 lain yang sporting enough to participate antaranya ialah Etiqa, Maybank, TNB, TM Hong Leong dan banyak lagi lah.

We all start from 18/11/2011 dan hari ni, last day of 14-days Challenge. Macam2 gelagat boleh kita tengok. Siapa yang paling kuat gelak atas mesin penimbang tu, dialah yang paling banyak naik berat. Weight loss programme, tapi berat naik. Hehe. Tak dapatlah nak menolongnya tu. Kihkih .. .

Six Months?

Lambatnya Masa Berlalu ...

Kalau ikutkan kiraan sy, baru week-22. Tapi doc said, week-24. Maksudnya dah 6 months. Bertambah cepatlah due. Tidak terasa sangat perbezaan 5 dan 6 months tu. Just baby punya movements ja yang terasa semakin active. Last week sy dah starts beli barang untuk baby. Fuh, berpeluh juga. Eventhough dah banyak beli pun, still banyak lagi yang kena beli. Sy ja yang rasa macam ni ke or other new moms pun rasa macam yang sy rasa juga ya?

My niece, Hana, admitted. Demam kuning. The whole family is scheduled to come back to Semenanjung on 3rd Dec. Sy ni bukan apa, just imagine, baru ja deliver on 21st Nov.. tiba2 tak sampai 2 weeks dah nak naik flight. And some more, the baby is still warded. Tak faham kenapa tergopoh-gapah nak balik. The mother, confinement leave dia 3 months. The father pun tengah school holiday. And then, nak buat majlis cukur jambul on 10th Dec. Aduh lah rushing betul .. and the mother tu pun belum habis pantang.

Kalau sy lah, relax ja dulu. Mama and papa pun ada sana untuk jaga ibu berpantang and the baby. Bagilah rest at least 3 weeks before balik Semenanjung. Kenduri and such tu kan boleh tunggu. Buat time Chinese New Year pun boleh. Lagi pun senang, kalau sakit pening boleh refer back to the hospital. They keep all the records. Bahaya high altitude untuk baby. Nothing to rush. Lain lah kalau the father kena kerja or duduk apart from the mother, kan.. Tapi ya lah .. sy bukan mereka. Mungkin pandangan mereka berbeza dari sy. Just hope that Hana is alright dan mereka semua selamat pulang. :)

First timer macam saya ni, and tambah lagi my mom belum ada cucu, so masing2 kekok lah for sure. Luckily, my brother, Eddy, his wife is expecting. Due within this 2 weeks. So my mom has started to get ready for them both. Lama tak jaga budak kecil, my mom bought a Moses Basket for the baby girl. Mom said, 'Alaa .. senang nanti di airport. Letak dalam basket ja.' - Err.. tak rasa stroller lagi practical ke? Owh ya, my brother and his wife stayed in Sarikei. And will be back for confinement and school holiday.

I planned to buy white furniture for the baby. Cot, chest drawer.. etc. Angan2 ja tu. Bukan cermat sangat pun nak menjaga white-thingy ni. Hehe.. I love something simple. Practical and easy to manage. Ok tak kalau macam ni? ...

Rasa Bodoh Melayan Budak Mentah

This I took from an acquaintance who was actually a family. Quoted from a family to a family. Close relative. Well, it’s funny though when small people starts to talk big. Nevermind if you’re 8 years old. Nobody cares what you’re saying. I believe this person should be old enough to think on her own.

Who are you to judge people’s English? They can’t speak well because they appreciate their own languages and culture more. We should be ashamed of ourselves. How good is your Bahasa Melayu? And another thing, travel with agent is definitely not alone. Alone means you’re a solo traveler. You didn’t qualify as one yet. And lastly, if you ask for favor from others, please thank them. And if there were problems, stop blaming people. Maybe it’s you, not them. Owh.. by the way, maybe you should start buying a new dictionary which can properly define MODESTY. From what you wrote, it’s not even close. Mmm.. and stop reading grammars. It doesn’t teach you courtesy. Try to read A Book of Courtesy: The Art of Living With Yourself and Others, perhaps?

P/S: Terasa bodoh juga layan minah ni. Tapi, banyak sangat post dia yang poyo. Kuat mengutuk, mengata! We all kenal sangat dengan life family dia ni. Tak adalah seperti yang dia canang2 kan tu. Not even close.

Weekend Outing ...

KL Bird Park

It has been a long time wish to set foot at the bird park. Not that I'm a bird lover, but it seems like a good idea of weekend outing. We arrived late, 4.00pm. Despite the 7.00pm closing, we managed to cover almost every inch of the park. Enjoy the pics.

First glimpsed of a peacock, I was so excited. Half an hour later, we found dozens of them scattered around the park. Hehe.. Enjoy the rest of the pics.

Indian Saree Pula!

Sepatutnya sy perlu hentikan keghairahan mengumpul kain pasang ni. Tapi semakin hari semakin bertambah koleksi. Hari ini sahaja, telah selamat 2 helai indian saree berada dalam dakapan saya. Entah bila nak tempah pun, sy tak pasti. Masih ada 4 pasang di tailor, dan masih berbaki 8 pasang kain di rumah yang belum di tempah. Mungkin sy perlu ke rehab untuk mengubati addiction ini.

Temerloh

Last week, me and hubby went back to Temerloh. Kasihankan Papa yang sakit tangan, I bought him a bottle of Monavie juice. Well, people said it's good for orang yang berpenyakit. Tapi entahlah lah, lets Papa try it first.

Actually, sudah lama both of us tak balik Temerloh. Last time, hari raya. Just for one day. This time, we all explore habis-habisan ..

Temerloh Esplande
Ok lah kalau nak lepak rileks petang2 tepi sungai. And also if you want to try the penambang (bot panjang untuk menyeberangi sungai) also can. I'm not sure how much per way, if I'm not mistaken it's RM0.50 - RM1.00. Whole life, so far I've only tried once. Who need a penambang if you can ride a car, right? Lagipun, I don't live at the other side of the river ;)

Stesen Keretapi Mentakab
Since 1995, I've never been to this place. I studied in Johor Bahru. Back then, there was no other public transport that can take you direct from Temerloh to Johor Bahru. So, you have to take the train. It's time consuming but you don't have other choice. It takes around 8 - 12 hours to Johor Bahru. But know, there're buses. So you don't have to take the train. 5 hours from Temerloh to Johor Bahru by bus.

Fifi gave us the idea to come over to this place. She said, some of her friends chose the place for their wedding photoshoot. Honestly, best juga. We can have the place all to ourselves. Not very busy. Train arrival/departure normally at night. Nice pics. Stesen keretapi, tapi di mana keretapinya?

Pekan Sehari Temerloh
Agak famous di Temerloh. Now and then, still nampak kelibat reporter and such mengunjungi pasar pagi ni. Tak banyak beza dengan pasar pagi di tempat lain, cumanya di bahagian pangkal pasar ini, anda boleh dapati nenek2 dan makcik2 tua menjual hasil kampung masing2. Harganya, mungkin agak mahal jika di bandingkan dengan Kuala Lumpur, tapi itu adalah standard harga barang2 di kawasan Temerloh.

Breakfast @ Pekan Sehari dengan muka sememeh..

Pekan sehari bermula seawal jam 7.00pagi hingga jam 12.00 tengahhari, pada setiap hari Ahad. Ia agak panjang, dengan pelbagai jenis barangan dijual. Sila simpan tenaga sebelum ke sana.

Shopping Ikan Air Tawar

As usual kalau balik kampung, mesti ada yang mengirim. Ramai penggemar ikan air tawar di sekeliling sy ni. Nasib baik cuma Patin dan Tilapia. If other than that, fuhh.. letih nak mencarinya beb! Current market price for both Patin and Tilapia is RM14/kg. That was up RM2 from last time I bought it. That is for the usual Patin sangkar. But if it is Patin Buah, jangan haraplah. It is RM95/kg. It tastes better than Patin sangkar of coz. But only penggemar Patin knows the different.

.. cukuplah sedikit2 ringkasan tentang kampung sy yang tak seberapa tu. Agak penat juga melayan aktiviti sepanjang 2 hari berada di kampung. Rancangan untuk ke Taman Negara juga terpaksa di cancel dek kerana penat. Boleh? Save it for another Monavie's trip back home.

Sangat Remeh!

Ada sesetengah orang ni suka sangat2 memperbesarkan hal2 yang kecil. Cubalah sekali-sekala relax kan minda tu, fikir apa penting2 sahaja, kan ke lebih baik. Tak faham betul sy. Kalau setakat hal kecil macam courier charges tu pun nak melalak satu dunia, cuba fikir kalau orang2 besar macam PM tu, berapa besar dia nak melalak kalau dah yang terpaksa difikirnya adalah masalah dunia. Terlalu jiwa2 sangat. Bahan bacaan yang kita baca tu pun penting juga. Kalau dah selection kita semuanya novel2 cintan yang penuh dengan konflik kehidupan, atau pun tontonan kita seharian tu adalah sinetron yang penuh ranjau duka lara tu, memanglah minda kita ni cepat sangat berfikir yang negatif. Apa kata, sebagai tambahan cuba baca bahan2 yang lebih membina, yang lebih berunsur motivasi. Mungkin hati dan minda kita ni lebih positif. ..

Esok Hari Malaysia!

Perbarisan Hari Kebangsaan...

Esok Hari Malaysia. Perbarisan Hari Merdeka yang ditunda sejak 31 Ogos hari tu, akan dilangsungkan esok di sekitar Kuala Lumpur. Awal2 lagi MIL telah memujuk hubby menemankan dia ke sana. Katanya nak membawa 2 orang anak saudara, Farah dan Ayie. Entahlah. Sy sememangnya tidak mungkin untuk bersusah-payah bersesak2 ke sana. Dengan batuk, selsema dan badan yang semakin berat, rasanya memang confirm sy hanya mampu terlantar empuk di atas katil kesayangan.

MIL, sejak dari dulu lagi memang suka hadir di event2 anjuran kerajaan ni. Perbarisan Hari Merdeka, Konsert Ambang Merdeka, menonton percikan bunga api tak kira di acara apa pun, Citrawarna, Rumah Terbuka Anjuran Kerajaan dan banyak lagi lah. Dulu, sewaktu sy dan hubby masih 20-an, rajin jugalah turut serta. Memang seronok. Tapi sekarang, dengan sesak2, jalan jammed, belum tentu kami sudi. Tambahan pula sekarang ni dengan udara yang berjerebu, lagi lah malas nak keluar rumah. Tapi untuk esok, mungkin hubby akan menemankan MIL. Demi untuk testing camera lens baru katanya. Hehe. Tak sabar menantikan hasil petikan gambar warna-warni Hari Merdeka. Yayy!

Travel...Travel..Travel

This year is not a great year for me to travel. So far, I've only been to Bali. Burned the other two tickets to neighboring country, and canceled the planned and unplanned travel route. I did took a vow early this year that I'm going to stop traveling so that I can focus in building a family. Well, not that I committed though but Allah somehow granted me with hope and rezeki to build one. I'm contented with what have been destined to me.

So many plans in mind now. I need a getaway. Too bad that I have to put a halt to any piece of it.

ohh..

If Allah permits, on my next birthday both of us are expecting a new family member. Luckily I didn't book another trip to Bali as planned. Still have few places left to visit in Bali. Well the truth is that I can't get enough of Bali. I don't know why I love the place so much. I've been thinking of Langkawi or Koh Samui to end 2011's trip. Or maybe Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai towards the end of the year for a cooler ground. Don't know yet. Stay put at home sounds great too, enjoying every part of having a cute fella inside you. Embracing it:)

Mari Berkongsi Kegembiraan!

Both me and hubby officially on road to Temerloh for raya on the raya eve. After maaf zahir batin session with MIL, we departed from KL around 10.30pm. Lots of cars on the road but traffic was alright. Arrived after midnight, we headed straight away to the kitchen. Had Opor daging, kuah kacang and ketupat. Hmm... tak sempat2:) This year, everyone was here in Temerloh. Eddy and his 6-months pregnant wife, Sue, Lily, Fifi, me and hubby. After makan, there goes the chit chat session till morning .... lets enjoy our raya pics this year..

First Raya

All of us went to Aidilfitri prayer. Sorry no pics in masjid. Ingat nak camwhore, segan lah pula.. :) Then bermulalah pagi raya kami. Makan2, family portrait and sesi duit raya. Tahun ni, serius sy terlupa nak bermaafan dengan papa dan mama. Just salam2 before balik KL ja. Lupa betul lah ...

On the night of the first raya we headed to To'Ki's house in Kg. Mambang, Pekan. Only me, hubby, Fifi and Lily. Eddy and his wife went back to Ketereh, Kelantan to be with his wife's family. While mama and papa still at Temerloh for more raya visitings. We arrived at kampung almost midnight. Just enough for merdeka's fireworks session at Cik Nor's crib.

Second Raya

First thing in the morning, pergi tahlil. Tapi just untuk makan ja. Kihkih.

Balik from tahlil, the four of us headed to East Coast Mall, Kuantan for Final Destination 3D. After a little bit of shopping in Padini, makan2 at ... lupa lah nama cafe tu. Lapar sudah!

Then, main air at a pantai next to Telok Cempedak. I can't remember the name of the beach as it is less popular than TC. Walking distance from Taman Teruntum.

On the night of second raya me and hubby rush back to KL because the next day we will celebrate it with his Tok Wan in Gemencheh, Negeri Sembilan.

Third Raya

We started our journey to Batang Melaka, Gemencheh around 11.00am in two cars. MIL, Nor ,hubby and Rayyan, Surya and her children, Boboy, hubby and me. Sampai petang and masak2 for lunch. Unfortunately for us, Tok Wan was fasting on that day. Pity Tok Wan, left alone during raya. Nek Uda merajuk because Tok Wan scolded their only daughter. She left since 25/8/11.. huu.. yep that long. Luckily we came to visit. Too bad we can't stay for the night. And again Tok Wan was left alone.

Back to work even though everyone is still in holiday mood. Updating raya stories. Big bosses, most of them are not in.

Well, it has actually almost a month since last time I updated this blog. Ramadhan was pretty busy this time. Been there, done that. I missed so much goodbyes and raya wishes. I guess I do owe you peeps an apology for whole year of dosa2 besar and kecil through my writing which unintentionally hurt the feeling of any of you. While everyone is watching it, I was like ‘Cerita apalah ni. Sure cliché’. It seems like now I’m licking my own spit. I watched it every day after sahur. Well, technically my sahur is at 2.00am. Hehe. I can somehow feel there’s a funny feeling growing inside me whenever I saw Aaron Aziz. Dah terkena aku ni. I think now there are few dramas featuring him on TV i.e. Stanza Cinta. And very often I find myself sitting on the couch waiting for him to show up. Gila. But in KL Gangster he’s just an ajinomoto ja. Love the movie though. Hubby bosan ja bila dengar sy asyik kata hensemnya Aaron, tough-nya dia, tingginya. KihKihhh… A friend of mine, Yeansz, is a fan. And so does my two siblings. Maybe I should be part of the fan things and follow him on Twitter for a starts. Err… but first, I need to have a Twitter account. *blush* How to register aah?

First Breakfasting Event with Family

While lazying around the house watching TV, SIL (Nor) called. She and her husband's family plus BIL and MIL are going out for breakfasting. Both me and hubby initially planned for a McD's GCB takeaway for breakfasting. Luckily they invited us to join them. It was late. Around 6.45pm we headed to Gombak. Absolutely no plan. SIL's husband then drove straight to Taman Bolton and stopped at Jees. I never knew that there was an eating place at Taman Bolton, because all we can see in front are only Chinese restaurant.

We should booked before we came. The place was not actually crowded but fullhouse indeed. We ended up getting our food late. When we managed to secure our orders, it was already 7.15pm. And Azan Marghrib was at 7.29pm. So, technically we are the last one to get our orders. For berbuka, they served dates and ice water. Can't really blame them if we get our food late. We ordered, Siakap 3 rasa, Siakap stim, Kerabu Mangga, Tom Yam Seafood, Kangkung Belacan and 2 pitchers of watermelon juice and orange juice. No food pic taken. Lapar seyy...

After makan, all of us headed to Tanjung Harapan. Nor's SIL, MIL did not follow us there. They went home straight. Federal highway was stuck jammed. We rerouted to NKVE and reached Tanjung Harapan around 11.00pm. Sudah mengantuk... Not many people around during Ramadhan. The sea was calm. The air was breezy. It was indeed a warm night. Enjoy the pics.

This time we managed to board the ship. The lock was opened. After looking at the construction, the ship is better to be locked. Very dangerous, especially for kids. The railing was very shallow.

Muzik.fm Dance Quest Final

Hubby told me there was suppose to be a concert in Wangsa Walk. So berbekalkan sebuah DSLR kami merempit ke sana. My first thought was the place is crowded, no space to park, very loud music, but it was actually a Muzik.fm Dance Quest Final. Ok2 ja lah. Small event indeed. I managed to secure a front seat. Altogether 7 contestants. Including 2 solos. Cool. They were all very committed dancers presented an amazing choreography. Stunt sana sini. Siap ada yang injured lagi. I don’t remember who the contestants were. Except for one, Huru Hara Crew (HHC). They came all along from Ipoh and had won 2^nd place. The winner, I called them the Orange team. Love their choreography and creativity. They deserved it. The prizes is quite small. RM500 cash and RM500 goodies for the winner. Main sponsors for the event is Digi and Muzik.fm.

Ramai la awek2 datang. Felt like I’m out of place since most of the audience are college students or maybe school kids, I don’t know. Kids these day mekap sana sini and not really resemblance their age. Terasa tua pula. Luckily one of the sponsor is AKI Muzik. So their artist most likely to be abang2 rock kapak. Hehe. Ali(Terra Rossa), Yazid (Sejati), Yabang(Khalifah), etc. When they asked the crowd to sing-a-long, of course they don’t know the song. Budak2! Even Ali Terra Rossa’s joke about Bunga Angkasa Jamal Abdillah’s version sang by De Putra, not many of them understood the joke. Hehe. Anyway, salute to Ali Terra Rossa and Sejati for the spontaneous performance. Tak mainlah miming. There were other artists/singers as well. Didn’t caught my attention that much though. Sorry guys never heard of your hits number.

During Ramadhan

As most people know, I wear tudung every Ramadhan. So same goes this year. At early years, I got mixed responses from fellow friends. Every now and then I still gets the adverse responses. Actually, I don't really care what they say. My niat is always to start wearing one starting from Ramadhan. I tested myself during Ramadhan every year. If I can wear tudung, comfortably, willingly, fully covered, not just tudung but including what clothes I'm wearing, then I'll stay forever wearing one. It hurts seeing our Muslim sister who wear it just enough to cover the hair. As if they don't understand the true concept of menutup aurat. I hope one day Allah will help me find the courage and strength to change for good.

I seldom read newspapers or watch TV news. Apart from the tragedies, other news on surroundings I find it hard to believe. Even a simple one like, "Mat Sabu Jatuh Motor Dilanggar Kenderaan Polis." Hikhik. It's funny when a video from a CCTV showed that he fell down while making u-turn, running away from police. But still, I heard people said that he video is somehow manipulated. Haiyakk.. which one to believe aaah?

Lately, I was totally uninspired to update. Technically lots of things happened to me or around me. Well, I do live(right?). I was at go-kart fortnight ago, was fishing and picnic at Pertak last week, I sell Filie's Almond London cookies, had a skin biopsy at skin specialist, I was at Broga Hill last Tuesday but didn't climb it, watched Hantu Facebook (Indonesian movie), out and about doing chores but yet really uninspired to jot anything. Stares at the FB's status but feels nothing important to share. What wrong with me? Nak period kot ...

One thing that I find interesting is today's Cyber Security Talk. The presenter was Aaron Mokhtar. His name and face does looks familiar. Besides that he looks like our former colleague Najmi, he does sounds familiar too. I googled (as usual). He's 'the' Aaron from Biggest Loser Asia! Only if I've known it earlier, instead of standstill when he asked for question, maybe I can asked him how he did it? Lose it, gained it and still at the most confident? The way he talk and thought, somehow I find it quite charming. Hehe.. gila ke apa aku ni? Anyway, the talk was berisi especially on how we should share our information online and very precise even on how we should pose for our profile photo in Facebook. If you ask me, I am quite particular on what I post in social network. Because I myself love to invade into people's life. Haha. Especially my hubby. Networking can tell you many things. You might be surprised by the information you gain. I do find it interesting in some ways . Hikhik. Owh and another info, Malaysian spent 9 hours on FB in average. Exclude me. That means lagi lama la you all online? Gila! Maybe all of you should watch Hantu Facebook. YouTube ada. Serammm youu.

Jam 4.00pm, me and hubby dah selamat berendam di air terjun di kaki Gunung Datuk. Rendam kaki ja. Penat seyy.. Rehat2 lepas lelah, then off we go. Home. Melalui jalan lama. Rembau - Pedas - Linggi - Seremban. Before Seremban, we stopped for assam pedas at Ampangan right after left turn to K.Klawang.

Tengok2 signboard, K.Klawang is just 35km away. Dalam fikiran sy, K.Klawang to KL adalah dekat. Fikir sy lagi, jalan untuk ke sana juga adalah elok2 saja melalui kawasan kampung. Lebih2 lagi bila nampak signboard warna coklat. Wahh ada tempat pelancongan, sure cantik jalanraya. We stopped at Petronas, K.Klawang to refill petrol, in case of anything. Hubby asked the pump attendent which way it is to Semenyih because there was a T junction. All I ever noticed is a signboard to Gunung Besar Hantu. Hehe. The pump attendent also reminded us to be extra cautious. Kawasan itu adalah berbahaya dan berh_ _ _ _ _. Heeee. Takut gila! Tapi nak pusing balik dah jauh. It was 9.00pm at K.Klawang that time. From the juction the road was fine. Cantik juga, melalui bukit besar yang ada sign "Budi Bahasa Budaya Kita" , 1Malaysia, just before a turn right to Gunung Besar Hantu, Hutan Simpan Jeram Toi dan Lenggeng. Kami jalan teruslah kan.

Sepanjang jalan, ada lah 2-3 kereta yang lalu. Pretty scary. Jalan berbukit2, berliku2. 50km to Semenyih. Tiba2 sampai ke sempadan Selangor. Sy pun cakap 'Ok, dah sampai Selangor mesti jalan cantik.' Tiba2, jalan buruk. Haih. Lagi dahsyat dari Negeri Sembilan. Negeri Sembilan's road adalah 100% better than that. Gila. Steep, narrow, dan divider jalan adalah hilang di dalam lalang. Huhh. At one turn ada sekumpulan mat motor lepak tepi jalan yang gelap tu. Dah macam2 akal ni berfikir. Nasib they all tak kacau orang. 20km after that, jalan adalah lebih baik dan tak lama selepas itu sampai ke simpang Bt.18 H.Langat, Ampang dan Semenyih. Fuhh, lega. Sejurus sampai ke Bukit Langat, sy terus terasa mengantuk. Biarkan hubby drive sendirian. Tapi sempat lah tengok betapa ramainya orang makan2 di Menara Tinjau Bukit Langat tu. Tahulah malam minggu, kan. Sampai rumah nearly 11.00pm. Penat. Mandi dan terus ZZzzZzzz!

Apa2 pun, it was a very great trip, weekend. Walaupun kecut otot mendaki, kecut perut melalui jalan liku yang gelap gelita, namun sy tetap tak serik. Until next trip. Adios!

Gunung Datuk - Part 1

Weekend Yang Indah

Yesterday, both me and hubby ke Gunung Datuk sebagai mengisi masa lapang. The original plan was to depart from KL around 5.00am. But both of us slept late. So, at last we were on board around 7.30am. Took the PLUS highway, exit through Pedas-Linggi. Singgah for breakfast at a Malay stall 500metres from Gunung Datuk's junction. Sedap roti canai dia! We even tapau a piece for kudapan at the peak. Lily said, 'Tidur kat rumah lagi baik!'. Ala.. saja2 habiskan masa doing some outdoor's activity. To keep fit. On the way up tu, adakalanya terfikir juga yang kata2 Lily tu ada betulnya. Hehe. Kerana bimbangkan stamina diparas -ve maka sy gagahkan juga. Tapi sekarang pun dah pancit-mancit. Hihi. Owh ya, kepada sesiapa yang berminat nak mendaki Gunung Datuk, entrance fee dia dah naik ya. Sekarang dah RM5.00/pax. Ok, enjoy the pics!

Mama, Fifi and Papa was here since Friday for our cousin's, Mahathir, wedding. As always, I didn't go to the wedding. Not on purpose, k. Ada hal. Mama and Fifi attended cupcake class. They brought us some samples. Ok lah. Hehe.

That nite (Friday) after mama ZzzZz, both me and Fifi started a Banana Cake project. With whatever we have in the fridge, we managed to get almost-a-banana-cake. Sedap? Ok lah. I didn't googled the recipe. Hentam saja! 1 egg, 1/2 butter, sugar, whole lots of bananas, vanilla essence, baking powder and flour. Measurement? Hentam juga! Hasilnya >>>>

D4niyar N4zarbayev, I can say, is a lucky guy. Who would have dreams to score a PM's daughter, right? Not sure though whether he's the right one for N0oryana Najw4. Hachiko the Dog Story

I watched the downloaded movie, played by Richard Gere. So touching. Watching such a loyal dog who waited for his master for 9 years after his master passed away. It was a true story in Japan. They made a statue of this dog, Hachiko, exactly the same spot he waited for his master everyday, near the famous Shibuya Station. Hachiko belongs to Hidesaburō Ueno, from Odate, Japan. He was a professor in University of Tokyo before he died because of cerebral hemorrhage. Hachiko died on March 8, 1935 due to terminal cancer. His remains are still kept at the National Science Museum of Japan in Ueno, Tokyo

'Like' it when somebody died?

Something puzzled me today after status-hopping in FB. I can't really believe it when some people are actually click the 'Like' button when somebody died. Can you people just leave it un-comment (at least)? You should have some respect to the deceased's family. Perhaps a simple condolence wishes will do. I wonder what they actually meant by 'Like'? Happy that they're dead or just happy for the status-updates. Do these people know how or when to use the 'Like' button? If they really mean it, they should feel sorry for themselves for being such a jerk and insentitive human being.

At Low Yat's Compound

I don't know what it is at first. Saw the ads and saw many Angry Bird's merchandise around KL. When hubby asked me to accompany him to Low Yat, I almost turned him down. Glad I didn't. You can download the game from Google. They said at first the game was meant for Iphone solely coz other phones can't support the application But now, most phone can. And in fact, the event itself was organized by Nokia. There was five game booths if I'm not mistaken. You need to register and then you can play it for free. But you need to queue for the game. Long queue. Then they'll give you some goodies. Not something to die for lah of coz. Just a few note books and stickers. Enjoy the piccas...

This is an old entry. Better late than never, right? 28/05/2011 - Saturday. While everybody in the office is busy treasure-hunting to Swiss Garden Damai Lumut, me and hubby went to Kedek's solemnization in Yong Peng. Nice one. Miss all the fun. Last time I was in Yong Peng, was during school time in JB. From Temerloh to JB by bus, rest-stop at Yong Peng. Trademark of Yong Peng; the super high TV antenna. Owh, another one is Air Itam's beautiful vases.

The akad was in the morning around 10.30am. After the photography session, we have no place to go. So me and hubby decided to go to Air Itam eventhough Mersing is only 2 hours drive from Yong Peng. It has been more than 10 years since last time I visited Yong Peng. Nothing much different. The attraction is still the same; the vases. Maybe they have some other things like soft toys, gift or maybe the fruits. The rest, all the same. Ahah.. for English-deco lovers, price here is definitely cheaper than Romantika, KK Home or SSF. After Air Itam, we stopped at Kluang. Round town. I love all the old building around the city. Very well maintained.

Standing side by side, but the years are different. How could it be? The numbers represent the year that building was built, isn't it? Perhaps I'm wrong.

After Kluang, we headed straight home. We had few places in mind since the next day is our anniversary. But nahh... balik rumah lagi baik, kan? Pitstop at Seremban for mangoes. Yummy..

A Minute Before Sunset

Last week, me and hubby decided to combat our boring day and traded it with a lovely evening with little peoples. Hehe. We took them; nephews and niece to Genting Highlands. That was the first time they are in Genting. So excited. We arrived around 5.30pm. The outdoor theme park had long closed. Plus, it rained heavily. So cold outside, so we spent our day at First World Plaza. Pretty warm. Enjoy the pictures!

We slide down from Genting at almost 9.00pm. We didn't go back thru Karak Highway. We took Batangkali's road instead, because the traffic was bad at Karak. We stopped at Hulu Yam Bharu for dinner. The kids were terribly hungry.

I had noodle soup. Hubby, MIL, SIL and her kids had nasi goreng. The foods were great. And so did the Carrot and Milk Juice. Love the taste. We arrived home around 11.00pm. Feeling extremely tired. Luckily I'm on leave the next day. At least I can still have my beauty sleep.

Hubby always said to me, 'Manalah tahu, kalau kita bawa anak orang jalan2 or kita baik2 layan anak2 orang mungkin satu hari Tuhan akan bagi rezeki pada kita. Dapat anak sendiri'. Sob..sobb.. don't get me wrong. We are ikhlas bringing the kids around. We both love kids. It's just that we hope we could get our own. Ahhhh. Tak nak cerita lah. Zip..zip.

Today, sukan ADFIM di padang BSN, Bangi. Sukaneka. Acara yang dipertandingkan, sudah pastilah bukan acara balapan atau liga bola sepak, kan. Nampak mudah, tapi kami tetap kalah. Walau diadakan setiap 2 tahun sekalipun, tetap juga kalah. Seingat sy, lebih 4 tahun sy di sini, telah 3 kali sukan ADFIM dianjurkan. 1) Explorace 2) Sukan bagi game berpasukan i.e bola tampar, badminton, etc. 3) Sukaneka (this year). This year, we won satu acara ja. Terompah Gergasi. Sy pula masuk acara Senandung Malam. Mengepit belon gitu. Hehe. Lepas lah ke final, tapi kecundang di saat2 akhir. Apa2 pun, congrats to all winners. Especially to CGC yang menang sorak. Hehe (sedikit berunsur dengki!).

Fast & Furious

Ok cerita ni no doubt lah memang best. Tapi there're some turn off. Like, too much coincidence. Nak fast car, tiba2 menang bet dapat kereta. First time they all ambush drug dealer tu punya money bank, they all burned down all the money. Later in the story, tiba2 ada banyak pula duit. Siap boleh order safe box ala2 bank's pula. Tak tahulah, maybe they all suppose to have that much of money in the story kot. Suspense element? Terlalu sedikit. Storyline? Predictable. Actions?.... just tengok ja lah don't count the logic. Because memang banyak yang kantoi. To me, this time the sequel is more like Italian Job than 2 Fast 2 Furious. Apa2 pun, Vin Diesel tu adalah sangat smart. Suka.

Received an email today. Golden Churn has been classified as non-halal. Though I'm not one of the pengguna tegar, kerana kedekut, tapi adalah menjadi kewajipan sy untuk convey this message to other Muslim.

Tentang kesahihan email tersebut, sy tak pasti lah. Tapi rasanya kalau memo from Jabatan Agama Johor, tak akan lah ada orang yang sanggup to that extend nak super-impose pula, kan? Apa2 pun, whatever things yang meragukan, eloklah sekiranya dielakkan.

Some people might prefer Europe to Southeast Asia. Well, I choose Southeast Asia. Europe just have to wait. I love the culture and heritage that build the nation around it. The height of Asian people might just be similar, but the culture isn't the same. Differentiate by their religion. The way they dress and live their life influence by the religions. Anyway, the flight tickets are cheap. I'm young. So, backpack is still possible. Cheap hotel, public transportation, street food, I'm ok with it.

I'm eye-ing India for the next travel destination. Got few places in mind. So far, 3 trips seems possible with current budget. Hopefully next year. Waiting for AA zero-fare this coming February (I hope!).

Me, Yeansz and hubby in one team. Patin Gedik. Hehe. Tapi seekor ikan patin pun tak dapat. Kurang tarikan lah pancing pada kali ini. Ikan liat nak makan. Last sekali organizer buka Kolam 4 yang cetek. Dapatlah kami bawa naik 2 ekor ikan lampam. Kami dapat no. 4, dengan berat total ikan adalah 500gms. Kira oklah tu daripada pulang tangan kosong, kan?

Ikan terberat. 3.5kg. Satu-satunya. Yang lain semuanya tak cecah sekilo pun.

I can't remember when did I sent the contest, but it did ended up with an invitation to the party. 4 invitations, so I bring along hubby, Fifi and Lily. We arrived a little late at 9.30pm. They're almost done with the door gift, nasib baik sempat! Hehe.

Last night, sy tengok movie lagi. Limitless. Wangsa Walk lagi. Hehe. Tak adalah gempak sangat cerita ni, tapi storyline dia is something different. It's about a pill that makes you a different person. From a shit turd to a brilliant, intelligent broker.

Bradley Cooper. Suka.

Apa2 pun, cerita ni berjaya membuatkan sy tidak terlelap. I glued up to the chair and so did hubby. I personally did enjoyed the movie. Something different.
